Prior to joining Mempile, M
r. Mebel served as CEO of Smart Link Ltd. from its inception in 1995
, when he co-founded the company
, through 2006 when he assumed the role of Chairman, a position he holds to this day.
Smart Link was a leading communication solution provider, the inventor of the PC Soft Modem technology and products, and had peak revenues at the $30M level.
Mr. Mebel
is also serving as Chairman of the Board of Intellinx Ltd., an internal user-
antifraud solutions provider.
Prior to founding Smart Link, from 1991 to 1994, Mr. Mebel served as the
COO, General Manager and VP Engineering of Zoran Corporation, a leading provider of multimedia chips for the PC and the consumer electronics industry.
Previously, over the course of a twelve-year tenure, Mr. Mebel held senior positions at Intel, the world’s leading chip manufacturer, including spearheading the 80X87 product line which modernized the computer industry.
Mr. Mebel holds a B.Sc. EE degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
