Nir Belzer
Senior Partner, Millennium Materials Technologies
Mr. Belzer is one of the founders and the promoter of the Millennium Funds.
One of the few funds focusing on material science, the funds has strategic partners like Bayer, Siemens, DSM, Boeing and others.
From 1995-1997, Mr. Belzer served as the Business Development Manager at IDB Holdings Corporation Ltd., one of the largest holdings companies in Israel engaged in diversified investment, financial and other related operations.
In this capacity Mr. Belzer served on the board of directors of six venture capital funds in which IDBH has invested and was responsible for promoting investments in start-up companies and monitoring their progress. Before joining IDBH, Mr. Belzer was a consultant to start ups mainly in building business models and go to market strategies. Mr. Belzer has also served as Director of Marketing and Business Development at Globes, Israel's leading business newspaper, and as a system engineer and subsequently in international marketing on the Lavi aircraft and avionics project at the Israeli Aircraft Industry.
Mr. Belzer holds an MBA from the School of Business Administration at Tel-Aviv University, a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computers from Tel-Aviv University and a certificate of the Israel Engineers Association in Aviation Electronics (AVIONICS) Systems Engineering.
